Calicut University degree admission will begin from today (19.05.2014). Calicut University Single Window Admission 2014 process includes admission to the 30000 seats in around 230 colleges affiliated to the university. Candidates have to to register online for participating in the online admission process/allotment. There will be two stages for the single window UG admission, first, online fee payment and the second is the online registration.

All candidates registering for the Under raduate Degree programmes should remit the fee through Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS).

Instructions : If mode of payment is State Bank of Travancore online
1.) Select the Purpose of remittance (UGSW01- Centralized Admission Process Degree 2014-Application Fee
2.) Furnish the details in fields 2 to 7 (mobile number and e-mail ID only that of the student/parent/guardian).
3.) Select the mode of payment -SBT online.
4.) Enter the fee amount and click the button”Proceed”.
5.) In the next page click “Continue for Payment”.
6.) You can view the details now, if the details are correct click “ Pay Now.”Remit the fee online as per the instructions in the online payment site of SBT.
7.) Click redirect to the Calicut University Instant Web Payment Sytem (CUIWPS) or wait for 60 seconds to be redirected.
8.) Take printout of the online payment “RECEIPT”. CAP ID Number and Password will be received by SMS/e-mail, with which the candidate can login to CAP and complete the online application submission.
Instructions : If mode of payment is E-Chalan of SBT.

4. Enter the fee amount and click the button “Proceed”.
If mode of payment selected is SBT E-Chalan a SMS will be received with in 2 to 6 hours.After which he/she can remit the amount in any SBT branch. The candidate’s copy of the chalan may be kept in hand and the college copy may be submitted along with the print out of the application to the college at the time of admission. And after 24 hours of the payment another SMS/e-mail will be received intimating the CAP ID number and password. After the receipt of this SMS he/she can login and submit the application.

2) Copy of the Qualifying Ceritificate.
3) Passport size photograph scanned and saved in ‘.jpg’ format with a size less than 40 KB.

5) Income Certificate for BPL candidates.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTERING OPTIONS:
Enter College and programme according to the priority. A list in the order of priority may be prepared and kept well in advance. List of College and programmes are available in Annexure V. Once the candidate completes the option entry he/she can view options by clicking the link provided to edit and save the options.The colleges and programme displayed in the print out will be in accordance to the priority opted by the candidate.
Registration procedure completed. Take printout of the application form. No need to send the copy of the print out to the University. The application along with the EChalan / Online payment receipt should be submitted to the college at the time of admission.

How to pay fees :
Candidate residing Kerala should remit the fees through Chalan. Fees will be accepted in all the State Government Treasuries in Kerala. Collect a chelan form the Treasury and fill up the details including Head of Account. Head of Account Treasuries in Malappuram District only: 8443-00-106- PD Account of Calicut University Treasuries all other districts of Kerala 8658-00-102-96 (02) CUS Fee will be accepted in Chalan counter at Tagore Niketan on the University campus, Thenjipalam. FRIENDS Janasevana Kendrams and Akshaya Centres For remittance in FRIENDS, Head of Account is not required. The following details should written on a sheet of paper- Name of the University, Name of Student, Course, Purpose of remittance and amount. Selected Branches of State Bank of Travancore Chelan forms are available in the Bank. Head of Account is already stamped in the chelan form. Original Chelan Receipt should be enclosed along with application.
Fee From Outside Kerala Students residing outside Kerala can remit their fees by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Calicut, payable at the State Bank of Travancore, Calicut University Branch.
